Our story
Midnight Coding started with a handful of kids, a laptop, and a game they wanted to build. Watching them go from “I can’t do this” to “look what I made” in a single evening made one thing obvious: coding is thrilling when it’s project-first. Those sessions became lesson notes, and the notes became this site.
Our mission
Our mission is to make programming feel joyful and achievable for young learners, by teaching it the way kids actually learn — one fun project at a time.
Editorial standards
- Project-first. We teach code through things kids want to make.
- Beginner-friendly. No jargon without a plain explanation.
- Independent. We recommend tools on merit, never for payment.
How our content is reviewed
Each guide is tested by actually building the project, checked so the steps work for a beginner, and updated as tools change. Something not working? Let us know.
